Season 2 starts Sunday! We will be driving cars from the 1970’s class so try a few out and pick a favorite. I’m sure getting familiar with your chosen ride will help you get better results!
I’ve created a 3 day season. 1 set of 3 races each day, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Follow THIS LINK and request to join our League. You may have to create an account if you haven’t already. Once you get into our league you can see whole season schedule. We will be competing for best times in 9 races spread over 3 days in the Subaru Impreza 1995.
It’s 0300 and I’m alone in a guard tower. The landscape and trees around me are covered in snow. Below, a platoon of infantrymen stand around waiting for the attack that is bound to come soon. I scan 360* around my tower looking for the enemy, but it’s dark and they are difficult to see. Suddenly, the troops below me open up in a hail of gunfire. I see the enemy coming. I return fire until my magazine runs dry. I drop the magazine and pull another out from my chest area and reload. The battle stops. It’s time to fortify our position before the next attack. How long can we hold out? I fall asleep…
In the coming months, I believe DayZ will start to turn into the game that so many had hoped for, but had given up on ever seeing come to light.
It has a been a long, long… LONG time coming. I hadn’t given up hope, but my patience grew very thin at times. Some bugs just wouldn’t go away! The poor performance was always nagging you on top of everything else. With the new renderer being implemented in the 0.60 experimental patch, poor performance will mostly be a thing of the past. They still have work to do, but rarely seeing my FPS drop below 50 has gone a long way in making this early access game more playable. It’s made me think it’s like putting on your glasses/contacts after forgetting them at home or losing them for some time. It just suddenly like, “Hey, this is how it’s supposed to look!” I’ve yet to be in an extended gun battle, but I imagine things will be easier now that you can spin around without losing 10 or more fps.

- Named enemies. will now drop better loot in Challenge mode than in Hard mode.
- Added a cooldown period for the Static Turret stun attack in order to avoid a stunlock in PvP and PvE game modes.
- Named NPCs will no longer respawn after being killed in the Open World. This will prevent situations where players were able to kill a same named NPC over and over again. Continue reading “The Division: Patch Notes”
